HiTalent is proud to partner with a leading Not for Profit organisation in the Social Care sector, seeking experienced and compassionate Counsellors to join their growing team. In this vital role, you will provide person-centred counselling and emotional support to clients navigating challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, and low mood.

The program provides crucial early intervention support to clients, equipping them with the tools they need to improve their overall well-being and manage life challenges.
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
Providing empathetic, person-centred counselling to clients experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression.
Conducting assessments and delivering brief therapy sessions tailored to individual needs, as well as developing and implementing collaborative treatment and case plans.
Working within a multidisciplinary team to provide best-practice support to clients.
Maintaining accreditation and memberships in line with industry standards, and participate in clinical and operational supervision.
Uphold organisational values and policies while maintaining a commitment to quality service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Minimum of 3 years’ counselling experience in Australia with Tertiary qualifications in Counselling or Social Work.
Minimum Level 2 ACA membership, Provisional PACFA membership, or AASW membership.
Experience with Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and other evidence-based modalities to deliver evidence-based care
Strong knowledge of Child Protection, Domestic Violence, and Suicide Risk Identification.
Availability to work Thursdays and one late shift per week.
