HiTalent Recruitment is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join a well-respected and reputable not-for-profit organisation in Coffs Harbour that are funded by the PHN to deliver inclusive mental health services to the community . Are you a compassionate and skilled mental health professional with a desire to support clients by providing individualised, evidence based interventions for short to medium-term support?

We are working with a well-respected not-for-profit organisation to seek a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join their team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in providing assessment, triage and psychological therapies to support clients' long-term recovery. 

Reporting to the Clinical Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Deliver trauma-informed mental health care services, including evidence-based psychological therapies and wellbeing interventions, tailored to the needs of clients.
  • Perform risk assessments, case formulations and treatment plans for clients with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Actively participate in individual and group supervision in addition to professional development activities.
  • Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Uphold organisational values and policies while maintaining a commitment to quality service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will require: 

  • A tertiary degree in Social Work, Nursing or Psychology
  • Registration with a relevant professional body - AASW or APHRA
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with clients experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
