HiTalent Recruitment is seeking an experienced Case Manager (Family & Domestic Violence) to join a community-based program in the Northern Beaches. This role pays up to $97k-101k plus super and $15,900k in salary packaging benefits and is part-time permanent.
Are you a compassionate and skilled community services professional with a desire to support women escaping family & domestic violence?
We are working exclusively with a well-respected not-for-profit organisation to seek a dedicated Case Manager to join their team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to women escaping family and domestic violence to help with long term recovery. This role will provide intensive case management using a person-centred and trauma informed framework to help clients access information and support to sustain a tenancy and live independently in a violence-free environment.
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Achieve long-term outcomes to help clients gain information and support to stay safe and pursue goals
- Create safety plans and goals such as ensuring clients have safe accommodation, access to services and support
- Participate in case conferences and interagency meetings
- Uphold organisational values and policies while maintaining a commitment to quality service delivery
- Participate in the professional support and development of the service
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Community Services
- Minimum 2 years of casework experience working with women and children impacted by family & domestic violence
- Ability to identify risk and take responsibility for mandatory reporting
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively work in a supportive team
