HiTalent Recruitment is seeking a Team Leader in Community Services to join a well respected Not for Profit in Northern QLD. This role is permanent, full-time with family friendly work arrangements available. 

Are you a compassionate and skilled community services leader with a desire to develop and manage client-centred service delivery and support individuals with complex needs?

We are working exclusively with a well-respected not-for-profit organisation to seek a dedicated Team Leader to join the team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in managing a team of caseworkers, ensuring best practice models are used. This role will an integral part of the leadership team for the service and will be an experienced community services professional. 

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Building, maintain and evaluating relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
• Promoting practice frameworks and continuous quality improvement
• Contribute towards service delivery and supporting client needs 
• Line management of staff, including best practice and promoting culture and morale.
• Manage safety, risk and the service inline with contractual requirements and service delivery standards 

To be successful in this role, you will require: 

• A degree qualification in community services, welfare, social work or related field 
• Experience leading teams in the areas of homelessness, mental health, AOD or similar 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and relationships 
• Ability to think strategically to manage the operations of a busy service 
• Demonstrate integrity and a good morale compass
